Accessibility at Ecommerce101

I want everyone to be able to explore my services, read my articles, and get in touch. I am working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.

Accessibility work is in progress. I do not currently claim full WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance.

Using this website

  • Use the keyboard to navigate links, buttons, forms and expandable questions. A visible outline shows which control has focus.
  • Use the “Skip to content” link at the start of the page to move past the header.
  • Use “Pause animations” on this page to pause the site’s animated illustrations and tickers. Your choice is remembered in this browser when local storage is available.
  • The site respects your device’s reduced-motion preference.
  • You can enlarge text using your browser’s zoom controls.

Improvements made

I have added visible keyboard focus, a skip link, page landmarks, descriptive links and image text, form labels and feedback, and controls for motion. The mobile menu supports keyboard focus management.

The primary buttons now use a consistent bronze and orange gradient with white text, checked against WCAG AA text contrast requirements. Secondary actions use bronze text and clear outlines or text links.

I use automated accessibility checks and browser tests for keyboard navigation, mobile layouts, zoom and text spacing. These checks help identify problems but do not establish full accessibility.

Known limitations

Some muted body text, captions and footer text still do not meet WCAG AA contrast requirements. These text colours need further improvement.

My review is ongoing. I have not completed an independent screen-reader evaluation or testing with people with a range of disabilities, so I do not claim full WCAG conformance.

Booking and newsletter features use third-party services, including Calendly and Klaviyo. Their interfaces can change independently of this website and may have accessibility limitations. A full review of the booking and subscription journeys is still outstanding. The animation setting on this page may not control motion inside third-party services.
